As mentioned over in the chat forum in a misc. thread, I just (finally!) upgraded my ancient and inexpensive Behringer mixer with a PreSonus BlueTube DP2 Pre-amp. I'm likin' the warmer tones.

I don't have a way to post the audio on my website, but I DID post them over on Julie Williams' forum here, if anyone cares to give a listen:

Scott I went off the compound cool and listened.....yeah hats off to you, you sound good on the Behringer which says a lot for you,...not that the Behringer is bad but it's not known for enhancing the voice.

The Presonus does have a little more body, I believe and does sound warmer.

And in your case I don't think this is going to turn into a bout of gearitis.
