Hi guys.
Here's a holiday offering for you. It's a song I wrote years ago, that we just re-recorded for a compilation album that was put out a few days ago for a great cause,,, providing food for kids who need it.
This song is especially meaningful for me because in searching for a recording of it to try to remember it for this project, I found one that had my bass player Chris Walker and I talking in the beginning, and we used this in the final mix. He was in a bad accident in 2007 that left him paralyzed from the chest down, and unable to play bass. He had just quit his day job and was supporting himself completely with music. This past summer he died, and I still think about him daily. He will always be an inspiration and it feels like with this he's still making music with me.
