Take all your cash outside your home before midnight and once midnight has passed, bring it in so that the first thing over your threshold in the New Year is "Wealth".
Never mind the silliness about leaving money outside the house unattended.
All I can tell you is it works. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Dang. Just reading this. Wait. I got a roll of quarters and dimes for the toll road through Oklahoma during our Christmas trip to Indiana. Do ya suppose if I brought that coinage in, some of that Mojo would would still rub off? _________________ www.voiceoverdrew.com

My maternal grandmother used to do this every year.
"Hello Henry" Boggan of WBT in Charlotte had a variation that included a chant:
Moon Moon
Beautiful Moon
Fill 'Er Up, Fill 'Er Up, Fill 'Er Up!

Well, I expect news then as my wife with the newspaper was the first thing to cross ours. Happy new year, prosperous and newsworthy for you all.
Don't forget the black eyed peas too. |

Oh fer cryin; out loud. I read this and later went outside to get some dog food that was still in the car. Well, that would have been the first thing I brought into the house this year. I can't even imagine what that would mean for me for 2011 So I rummaged through the car. Found some coins and made sure I brought them into the house before the dog food. Phew.... _________________ Elaine

I'll have to pass on that threshold thing, and go with the "1st" email in my inbox for 2011.
The pension check is in the bank.
Works for me.
