I think Philip should try for the elf-like voice. I'd pay money to hear that. Wink

Looks like a Craigslist posting. So, you'd be paying more than what the gig actually pays.

And Pinto, new monitor please. I just blew coffee on it.

That's actually better than an "opportunity" I just decided NOT to audition for!

I wish I had seen this casting. <arrrgh>

As some of you may know, I once spent 3 months disguised as a kangaroo in the Australian Bush, in order to better develop the character for a role I was to play in a film called "Hey Skippy, Whatcha Up To Now?"

I was to play Skippy's best friend, a cross between a wise cracking Dennis Leary and Don Kotts. Most of the time I was in that suit, in the 103 degree whether, I was pounding back Fosters after Fosters. Between the heat and the Fosters, I was almost always in a state of delerium, which got me into a Zen like state. I am not sure if it was this or the constant soiling of myself that attracted the attention of the other kangaroos, but I was excited to see that I was not just accepted, but part of the upper kangaroo social strata.

Unfortuately, the movie was canned and the studio decided to go make another movie, called Ishtar instead. One can only guess at how my life might have changed if they had gone through with the production.

So, if one of you does manage to book the role of the inebriated kangaroo, please feel free to contact me. I have copious notes that will no doubt prove invaluable.

HAH!
J.S. owes me a new keyboard.

Small wonder you sought out Bill - it was Ishtar that did it, right?
