After meeting lots of people who talk about what they hear in my voice I've been thinking about called my website: Mary Morgan "The Quirky Voice"

Would it work?

Or what about others like this: Mary Morgan "Voice Over Enigma"
Mary Morgan: The Voice Over Secret Smile
Mary Morgan: The voice of the mysterious smile
I have kind of a Mona Lisa theme going on in my head.

Thoughts please!!!
Mary

Mary,

I'm rather fond of "quirky", too.

none of them. What if I'm looking for a voice that isn't quirky? Why put yourself in a box like that?

Even the people who in our world claim to know and understand branding DON'T. Now to be fair, I don't know everyone and I've only been doing this job 20 years.

Do not attempt to brand yourself anything, do not use a dud slogan do nothing to detract from who you are and how you sound.

I think your best branding slogan is "Mary Morgan".

A distant second might be "Mary Morgan, Voice Actor".

Echoing others here, why limit yourself? Get them to know and rely upon you as you, a package that contains your full and unique range of talents.

I second Jeff, Bruce and Philip. IT's to easy to get pigeonholed as an actor, no need to do it to yourself.

"Mary Morgan"

"Mary Morgan - Voice Actor"

This is advertising. If you can't sell yourself how can you be expected to sell someone else's stuff?

+1 for what Jeff, Philip, Bruce and Mike said.

In theory, calling yourself the "quirky" voice might make sense, if your voice sounded quirky all the time. But while listening to your commercial demo, I can't say that the word "quirky" ever popped into my mind. (And continuing this honesty kick, I didn't hear "Enigma," "Secret Smile" or "Mysterious Smile" either...sorry.)

The only thing less effective than not marketing yourself at all, is marketing yourself inaccurately.

Mary:

With your name "Mary Morgan", nice name but sounds a like a 60s mom, and the look of your website, I expected to hear a middle-aged voice. I was surprised to hear an energetic, youthful voice.
A voice that is in demand. Something to think about in your marketing.
Maybe visually hip up your site a bit?

Hi Bill,

Actually that's what I'm trying to do right now, changing the look. That's why I started wondering if I needed something in words as well as imagery to describe my voice.

Thanks for the advice.
