Got this from Nancy Wolfson. Let us send up the Mojo for Jason.
Jason is the fellow who runs Village Green— the web design outfit a lot of VO people have relied on.

Quote:
Jason Sikes is at Northridge Trauma Center's ICU. His wife gave me permission to post here to invite your love. He had a rather mysterious but serious accident of some kind at home, resulting in a severe head injury. Kids found him in hallway; nobody but Jason knows what happened; he can't tell us b/c he's unconscious (keeping him that way till bleeding stops). We hope he'll be home next week.

New from Nancy this morning:

Quote:
The Jason's Posse/Lotsa Helping Hands calendar is live.
If you're interested in sending food to the Sikes family, please follow the link below, sign up, and wait for approval. http://tiny.cc/4ecks

*Please note, the family is gluten free, dairy free (not just Wheat free, dairy free -- ALL gluten)

Jim Slade is looking into local resturants that may deliver. Jason's son, Julian tells me that
The Almo delivers. 818-889-5092
Their usual order inculdes:

huevos rancheros
cobb salad (thousand island dressing on side)
chicken fajitas -- no cheese

When someone is so catastrophically ill, the simplest things mean a lot to the family. Bringing a meal or helping with laundry (if you're that close a friend) are more valuable than gold.

This also:

Quote:
Jason's sister reports this morning:
"Jason had a restful night last night. He is still heavily sedated and resting.
Doctors are saying the next 2 days are critical for his recovery."

Oh my gosh. How terrible. Wonderful that nearby folks are coming to the family's aid.

I'm glad to hear that at least he's stable now, and am sending all thoughts for a complete recovery!

So much sadness everywhere - the prayer chains are long right now. Healing thoughts.

Glad to hear he's at least resting comfortably..more or less.

Freaky stuff that.....only he knows what happened! T&P coming from our house too.
