How did you like it? I'm thinking about maybe attending in NYC in May, but it's definitely a big chunk of change _________________ Back into the murky lurk from whence I came

It was really, really good. It's intensive, and you need to do a fair amount of homework (picking possible excerpts) that suit you, before the event. That's probably the hardest part It's also really good idea to listen to excerpts of books online on AudioFile, or Publisher's Weekly, for example, if you're not a regular audio book user to familiarize yourself with what is accepted technique.
The class is comprehensive, and you'll learn a lot from listening to others as well as your own efforts. At the end of it you'll have a usable demo and tips for what you need to start getting work (including pricing help). Pat brings in the best and I thought it was worth every penny. I met some great folks, too, who may now connect in NY for the Book Expo in late May.
Do you know yet who will be "guesting" with Pat? _________________ Perry Anne Norton VO

Thanks for the feedback...it's very helpful! According to his site (thank you for the link BTW, DB ), his guests this time are Scott Brick and Katherine Kellgren. I'm still weighing some options for workshops this year, but this one is definitely on my short list. _________________ Back into the murky lurk from whence I came
