If you were not aware, WAVES is selling some fantastic plug-ins dirt cheap. One of note for voiceover folks is "DeBreath" $18..........YEP

BREATHtaking RESULTS:

Being that DeBreath is a WAVES plug-in, I was initially more optimistic about the quality of the results than I might otherwise have been if it were a lower quality company. I was not disappointed!! I worked with the settings and have already created a "preset" that should serve me well for auditions and final audio. I'm not a hugely breathy person, but I do prefer breaths be toned down a bit...not out, because that can sound unnatural.

I am thrilled with the way this works, but that said, I would not apply this to every file I sent out, and certainly not on audio that will have sweetening/production done. Audio being produced outside of my booth is sent 100% unaffected in any way.

So......an $18 price tag – leaves me BREATHLESS (PUNny, right!)
