hi guys - on june 4th i will be participating in an event called "100 Men Who Cook". it's a fund raiser for the Boys & Girls club. 100 men of the community cookin' it out to raise funds. most of these guys work in big offices, are politicians or on radio or TV. since i'm non of those things - i'm appealing on line. the goal is to raise a ton of cash via ticket sales & tips ... tips in the jar at the event - OR - tips in the paypal account before the event. (tellis@audioimage.biz) no pressure - but i'm posting this in several places.

for my part, i will include the recipe of my main dish here:

Pasta Stefano

Serves 5

4 Large Chicken Breasts
1 ˝ cup Sun Dried Tomatoes in olive oil
6 Cloves Garlic - Minced
1 Large Onion - chopped
1 TBS Basil
4 Cups Farfalle (Bowtie Pasta)
Olive Oil
Fresh Parmesan Cheese

I threw this recipe together for my Wife on her birthday several years ago, and since, it has become a family favorite. I cook the whole thing in a 9 qt. cast-iron Dutch oven. It takes less than 30 minutes to prepare & even less time to clean up.

Cook Farfalle according to box directions
Sauté Onion & Garlic in Olive Oil until tender in a large cast iron Dutch oven
Cut Chicken into 1” squares & add to Onion & Garlic & cook for about 10 minutes – stirring often
Add sun dried tomatoes & basil & simmer for a few minutes
Drain Farfalle and add the pasta to the pot with a bit more olive oil
Transfer to large pasta bowl, sprinkle with fresh parmesan and serve

YUM-A-RAMA!

I'll sponsor you!
That recipe looks delicious.

I'll donate because you're awesome, but also since it's a fund raiser that doesn't foul the roadways.

thanks deebs! yes - keeping the buckets out of intersections - that's the way to go!

also if you want it less sweet - add fewer sun dried tomatoes.

Do you have a teleprompter? Did you memorize? That was super! I was so inspired, I stopped by PayPal.
