Are most of us still basing the 'typical' page of copy on 12-point Arial/Helvetica or Times, double-spaced? Or are some of us OK with 1.5 line spacing? _________________ Mike

Because it's so easy these days to mess with all aspects of page size (font, spacing, etc.) I just don't quote per page anymore....it's all on word count which leads me to finished minutes. There's rarely any chance for any fudging on the quantity of verbiage.

Yep - too many possible variables. This client said he had "two pages of text," so I rounded upwards and translated it into words/time.
Thanks, Bruce. _________________ Mike

I had a client recently ask me to read "a document" for $300.
The "document" was 15 pages, single space. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Ah, yes. "We need a really low rate and we need it last Thursday. But we've got a lot of this type of work coming down the pike if you're interested."
Yes. At a really low rate and immediately. _________________ Mike
