Hello VO-BBers,

I am visiting my in-laws in Seaford, DE on the Eastern Shore and , naturally a newish client needs some retakes and insists on an ISDN studio. It turns out there are no ISDN equipped studios in DE. I found one in Annapolis (an hour and a half away from in-laws), I can do that if need be, but it was suggested to me to ask you kind folks if you know anyone in the area who might have an ISDN connection I could rent for an hour on Friday the 29th.
There is a new studio about to open and ISDN is rumored, but it's a month out evidently.

Thanks for any advice or for reading this and being in the network of those VO folks who always are open to requests for help and support. Deebs, you've created something very special here. Thanks again for your vision and support.

SamA in Seaford (soon back in Puddletown, thank God).

Hi Sam,

If you look on www.broadcastisdn.net there's a worldwide directory of ISDN studios and they have one listed in Dover, DE.

The bad news is it's in a radio station (WDSD) so it might not be available for hire, but seeing as it's listed there it might be worth a quick enquiry

Good luck,

Simon

Sam, It may be a bit of a drive but there may be an ISDN studio in the Salisbury/Ocean City, MD area..

Best option I've found when on the road, if the client absilutely has to have an ISDN session, is to use a "bridge" using Source Connect.
Steve Nafshun at Out of Hear studios can fix you up. It's been very useful while away from ISDN. Very simple to use as well.

Forgot to post Steve Nafshun's studio number. He does these on a regular basis and he'll make sure it works for you.

Thank you folks. They have released me for Friday, but these options will be logged and developed, as we will be back and clients will be clients.

Thanks to you all for your help.

VO-BB. Best place on the web.

Thanks Mr. Moderator especially.
