Hey everybody... (hi, Doctor Nick...)
I just joined the board, and I'm pretty excited about it, actually...
About me:
I've been in radio since 1997. I'm Production Director for Clear Channel in Austin, TX.
Gear-wise, I use an AT4033a into the XENYX preamp of my (super-awesome, wink wink) Behringer mixer in my studio and process stuff using VSTs. I really don't like any of it except the VSTs, but it's what I've got!
I mostly use Reaper as my DAW, and Sony Sound Forge as my 2-track editor. I use Sony ACID for music demos and Sony Vegas for video production. I love Reaper. Easily the most bang for the buck for DAWs.
I'm a musician as well - I sing and play bass in a working cover band, and I play guitar also (with some keyboards and drums, too).
So that's a little about me. I hope I can be a good contributor to the board!

Howdy Brian and welcome to the VO-BB! I was the Production Director at Clear Channel DC (DC101) from '96 to '09, and did Middays on 101 for a number of years too.
I hope CC/Austin treats you better than CC/DC treated some of us...lol.

Hey Brian,
I was middays and imaging director for CC's KTBZ/Houston from '05-'08 (though I supposed I still am technically imaging director, just doing it from 2000 miles away). I'm another Sony guy... SoundForge 10 (worth the upgrade if you haven't yet), Vegas 8 for imaging and spots, Acid Pro 7 for music.

Welcome.
I used to work for Cheap Channel - news anchor/talk show host- they fired me. Best thing that ever happened to me. It was my last 'real' job.

Your secret is safe with us. 
Actually, from 1978 to 1997 I was Production Director at what are now part of the Clear Channel cluster in Hartford but they ditched me two ownership groups before Cheap Channel.
