Thank you all for the warm welcome. To those that need to be addressed personally...

Doug: We are now down to ZERO. Prior to Portland, I lived in my birth state of California. Ferrets are illegal there... yesssss!

Samowry: I've only lived here since June 10th and it's been beautiful almost every day. It doesn't rain much here does it?

Dan-O: Thanks for the heads up about Vox on the Rox. I visited. It's private. I requested entrance. Haven't heard back. Hope they don't do a background check.

Whalewtchr: Mornings at KJRB, Spokane [1976-1980], Mornings at KZOK, Seattle [1980-1985]. Surprised you remember. You don't look that old from your picture.

Fran McClellan: It's better than awesome. And you really ought to visit... for the rest of your life.

Skinny Johnny: Thanks!!!

Bobsouer: What a coincidence, I was just listening to you on a tele-seminar with Nancy Wolfson. I looked up and you had written. As far as the Vikings go, this will be their year.... won't it?

Eddie Eagle: "Moonstruck"...one of the great [and there are MANY] secrets of Oregon. If they let me in... I'll bring it.

Thanks again folks!

Hi Rick, and welcome.

I just arrived in Portland a couple of weeks ago myself. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to an upcoming VotR gathering to meet you and the rest of these fine folks in person. I'm sure the moderator will let you into the group soon!

In the meantime, hope you enjoy the VO-BB. This is a nice place to be.

Jen

I'm not from Portland. And I don't live in Portland. I've never even been to Oregon.

I feel so alone.

But Rick's a cool dude, so I'll get over it. cool

That girl above [Kristin] is the one who urged me to check this place out. She's been more help to me than I would have space to tell. She's a pro with a halo [albeit a little askew at times]

Welcome to Bridgetown, Rick.

Hi Rick,

Are you the same Rick Riley that worked in Christian radio and lived in the Nashville area a year or so ago? If so, I want to thank you for your advice and encouragement as I prepared to "launch". If not, welcome to the board and I hope you find this forum as valuable as I have.
