|
|
I finally decided it was time to get a proper logos designed by someone with artistic sense (i.e. not me!)
I have the Living Culture one pending, but have the Asian Vox one almost finished. What do you think?
http://asianvox.com/
I know it is a bit busy... I asked to artist to cut out some of the pointy bits on the inside.
What I was going for is 2 dragons outlining a not-so-obvious ying-yang, with the music note in the middle acting as an A. So..kinda Oriental looking without being corny.
Ignore the rest of the site, I will redesign it at some point. _________________ Mandarin Chinese Voiceovers & Localization

i think the logo is cool - without being too "ed hardy"
i like the font for "asian vox" - but i'm thinking you should try something different with "voiceover database" maybe a bit too much ... maybe a smaller - kerned out san serif font even something like helvetica narrow to make it super-easy to read and break it up a bit.

Thanks, I was thinking it was a bit busy when reduced to the needed size.
I agree about the "voiceover database" but I couldn't find anything I thought matched the rest, I will try out your suggestions. (although I should work on building up that database part first.. )[/quote] _________________ Mandarin Chinese Voiceovers & Localization

Strange, I don't have a standard Helvatica in PS. Never realized that. The MS Sans Serif is about the closest I found. _________________ Mandarin Chinese Voiceovers & Localization

I like it - I agree with Todd on the voiceover database font though.
That graphic is way cool. It would make a very nice tat! _________________ Moe Egan

I changed and uploaded it with new font about 5 minutes ago, you musta just missed it!
My designer will be pleased. She says she used tattoos for ideas for it! _________________ Mandarin Chinese Voiceovers & Localization

They are cool! I'm pleased. Designer is Taiwanese, but I am not a fan of Chinese dragons, these look more Japanes, which are way cooler!
OK, I made the whole logo part bigger. All the headings and logo looked out of proportion; still a bit funky, but temporary. _________________ Mandarin Chinese Voiceovers & Localization
