Hi, Everybody.

I have a Commercial Demo fresh out of the oven and am in the process of figuring out what my voice brand is.

I'd really like to get your feedback as to what words or character types you hear in my Demo. Rather than a critique of the Demo itself, how might you describe my "essence"?

Do I sound like a "nerd" or "high school jock"? An "every guy" or "creepy dude"? Do I sound like I know what I'm doing or more analytical/always trying to figure things out? Would I be someone you would want to talk to at a party or do I sound like a guy who's hanging out in a corner staring at his drink cup? Your thoughts aren't limited to these but just some idea starters.

Thank you very much!

The husband of that nice young couple that just moved in next door.

Who did your demo?

Your essence, eh? I'm guessing you want an answer in terms of who you best represent. You sound very commercial, natural and approachable. I've heard at least 90% commercial VOs just like yours on radio and TV.
