Got this from a Canadian pal.
CB is Cape Breton. NF is Newfoundland.

Early one morning after getting off the NF ferry on the way to St. John's, we stopped for breakfast just outside of Cornerbrook. Our bass player's Dad was a Newfoundlander so he [the bass player] was more familiar than us with the Newfie grammar in spite of us being from next door in CB.
The waitress came along to take our order. Somebody ordered bacon & eggs, another guy some toast, another an omlette etc.
Then she came to Owen, the bass player & asked what he wanted. He rhymed off as quick as you can imagine,
"Twoeggssidebyeach, baconparrelell, halfmoonabaloney & a horange glass a juice."
She instantly replied, "Right away." ...& off she went. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
