Philip,
OK, I'll play.

I don't get the job, obviously since I can't get it done in 29 seconds. Not and sound human, anyhow. _________________ Be well,

I got it to :29... but at the risk of sounding like I should have all my caffeine confiscated.

And I have a new mic (today!) and I don't think I have the settings right. Do I sound like I'm inside a wastepaper basket to you? (I am inside a wastepaper basket, but I don't want anyone to know...)

asnively,
Gotta tell ya... I think you are right... do you have a big quilt to hang up on the walls? You have a really 'live' room...
But, I like the feel of the spot. Just no more caffiene...
Tom,
Thank you... and I really did try to give it some 'air'... LOL

I couldn't talk that fast if I wanted to (especially at 9:30PM)... my eyes couldn't keep up the pace. The only reason I got it down from 34.5 was because I beat it to death with the reducer. It still ended up at 30.895.

Mike,
I like the second one... it's a wrap!

Before you ask, I did NO "Time Shifting", NO major processing, No - nothing - on my version.. It is all me, baby. (oh, and two takes. I couldn't get used to saying "pounds" on the first take)
There is a technique to do this... something I learned from a master of the art years ago... someday I will tell you about it, Grasshopper....

Frank, I'd love to hear it... I've got a client that routinely sends me 45 second 30 second scripts. |

Yeah, Frank...I'm listening, too!
By the by, I managed to crawl (at least partially) out of the aforementioned wastepaper basket.
I am so lame.
I had failed to notice that the shock mount that came with my new mic has erectile dysfunction and the mic had slid out of position. I was just staring into the pop filter, I guess, and was oblivious. How embarrassing...
