I really prefer a clean, get-down-to-business website, but I've been getting and reading so much advice about how you need demos for every possible occasion, and where's your client list, and people always read my compliments...you have to put all those things on there. And I'm a firm believer in not making viewers jump to new pages to see stuff. Hmmm.
Well I've redesigned my site trying to pack it in yet keep it clean. Your thoughts are welcomed. I've still got to add to the client list and such, but I'm at a stopping point for now. I want learn HTML5 one of these days so I can avoid the SoundCloud and YouTube workarounds, but I think I'm stuck for now.

i think it's arranged in a very male-dominate way - very linear. i seemed to navigate it ok, and i didn't even have to scroll much.
personally, i LIKE the soundcloud interface and it keeps the bandwidth suck off your server. if you don't like youtube you should check out vimeo. their "plus" account is only $60/year and you can brand the player, keep videos out of sight if you want, decide what the end of the video cues, etc. pretty cool. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I'm not a big fan of Vimeo, even on a T3 line at work, it stutters and jerks and occasionally hangs.
Does the soundcloud player show up on an iPhone or iPad? That there would be a win for me.
As far as design goes, it has all the material, just doesn't look like it was 'designed'
You're a pro, you sound like a pro, the sight should reflect your level of work. It needs a designers touch IMHO.
(I'm not a designer, but I play one on the radio...) _________________ Company, villainous company, hath been the spoil of me...

When viewed on an iPad, the Soundcloud player is absent (which is a pain because I was going to try it on my site)... however, the text line and the download link do work, and when hit, play the audio file on a new page. Just changing the text to let IOS users know that it'll play the file might help.
Cheers
