i don't actually expect anybody here to buy it - shipping would be a NIGHTMARE ... but i thought i might get an opinion or two about what it's worth.

here's an ebay listing for the identical speaker including the crossover mine's actually in a little better shape

it's mounted in a 5 ply birch box with recessed handles and covered in speaker carpet. i also put a plate amp in the box, so it's powered. (i'll get the info from the amp if it's important to anybody)

any ideas?

$400 $500 tops. Shipping would be about $85 for that bad boy.

i'll check in --- but i prefer you guys. i'm an idiot, and gearslutz are mean to idiots.

and, yes ... it is HEAVY!

i worry because it's in a sealed box (22" cube) with no vents ... is that bad?

i traded a 4' equipment rack for it, put the plate amp in and have only used it once. lightly. i don't want to damage it if it shouldn't be sealed.
