...your own mileage may vary, but I've noticed an improvement in my studio work after I got out and got re-involved in a community theatre project.
caveat: wouldn't recommend diving in with a 2-person show after being offstage for 20 years, but other than that....

There is more to the best Voiceoverists than merely their voices. Whilst we may indeed make over living or bulk thereof from talking in a wee huttie somewhere what we bring to the party is the "me" factor and if we're just a voice and a mic the "me" factor is is pretty vacuous.
Live theatre work has got to be a wonderful way of filling the "I'm just a voiceoverist" void. |
