VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Hello, everyone. My name is Nathaniel ad I'm from Cincinnati. I'm new to the site and fairly new to the world of voice acting. I've always admired voice actors and remember emulating the voices of my favorite characters in video games and shows like X-Men, TMNT etc. To be honest I still do. Smile

I've only been doing VO work (semi) professionally for a year or so and have had a couple jobs. I've gotten to learn a bit about the industry through these jobs and my own research but I know that I have a LOT more to learn. I'm vey excited to be a part of the community and I hope to build relationships with my fellow members both long time veterans and those less experienced like myself. I'm fairly on the newbie side of things, myself. There's definitely a lot to learn even just by lurking around or digging through the archives. But you probably had already figured that out.

Welcome aboard, Nathaniel. We're all newbies here, to some extent. Even the vets. Cruise the archives and dig down into the threads and you'll learn all kinds of great things.... How to get the best sound from your closet, how to record acceptable audio in a Holiday Inn while on vacation, where to find the best bars in Portland, who makes the best chocolate treats and where to get them, how to find that annoying little hum that just won't go away (it's the ceiling fan in the room down the hall), which mics sound almost as good as the $2000 jobs, and which apples make your mouth work better. You'll also meet some of the best, most generous, and least serious people on the web. Come on in....
