Looks like I will be in town that weekend, but can probably only make the pre-event. So, I will keep my eyes peeled for that. |

Wow! Wish I could go. Looking forward to seeing piccies. Next year is the year I start racking up the frequent flyer miles going to all of these great events. _________________ Intuit and do it!

Thanks Liz. That's the page I emailed Lindsay from. She must just be busy with other things at the moment. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Chuck, it took her several days to get back to me so I wouldn't worry about it.
For those that are going and want to visit the 9/11 site, you need to get tickets beforehand online. They are free but are limited per 1/2 hour as it's still a construction site and you have to go through metal detectors. Weekends fills up really fast so I wouldn't wait too long. You can get tickets here http://www.911memorial.org/visit _________________ Pam Tierney

I'm flying in Thursday afternnon and leaving Sunday evening. Staying right in the centre of Manhattan. Just had a thought... where can we all get together on Saturday lunchtime like last year? Any 'locals' want to sort out somewhere for lunch?

My daughter lives in NYC, now, and I had hopes of going to the mixer, AND seeing her, but my VO travel/time budget won't allow. Next year: VOICE@012, APAC, and Faff4....who's goin'?

Faff 4's absolutely on my list. The experience at 3 was awesome. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

APAC - Not what I do so not relevant.
VOICE2012 - No commercial value to me at all so whilst it's nice to see friends it's also both expensive in terms of money and jetlag.
FaffConNxt - I had a delightful time, truly delightful but it was very much like the NYC mixer, time with friends. The best session was mine because I didn't have to listen to it. |

Thanks, Diane, actually APAC is #1 on my list... I've just missed it too many times in a row.
VOICE2012? Well, I'm playing my my usual role of host, and again a presenter, so, yup, I'll be there, and FaffCon, well, can ANYONE afford to miss? I missed "3" for all the justifiable reasons, but don't want to ever miss another.

Yay Dave! Another for APAC! Traditionally, right before the conference there is an APA mixer at one of the local bar/restaurants and EVERYONE is there. You have to be a member of the APA or be invited by a member - so if you're not, let me know and I'll invite you. |
