Two similiarly priced interfaces....similiar functionality .... one is Mac only, one is cross platform... one runs Protools Le, one doesn't...
Based strictly upon converters, preamps, and overall quality of the finished product.... anyone have a chance to compare the two? |

Nope. I've used both, never side by side. I hate the "pull the knob for pad switch" design of the Mbox Mini 3. Pull the knob and guess what, it comes off. Push it back on, and you click the switch back where it was. Good times.
I did setup an Avid Mbox Pro 3 for a client this week and it was very nicely made, but still hate those pull for pad knobs and hold the button to mute the monitors is lame. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.
