New and improved website is up and running....with an Apple device compatible autoload site. www.chuckdaviscreative.com
I've checked it out in every way I can think of from here.
Any bugs that you can find would be super helpful. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Chuck... very easy to get around in the entire site. I tried to get lost but couldn't. All the buttons worked, and I liked the background animation with the demos. Great design. _________________ "Bailey"

I don't have my phone handy Chuck, but on my Mac it looks and works great.
Also, I would like to personally thank you for making it so that when clicking between demos, the previously-playing one is muted when the newly-clicked one starts to play. I hate it when I go to a site and click between demos and they overlap one another. (Yes, it has happened more than once!) _________________ jen@jengosnell.com

Really nicely done, Chuck! Clean, clear and a great UI. I've only visited on my iPad, and everything worked, loaded and played perfectly.
Nitpicks:
The first line of the 3rd paragraph on your Bio page ends with a comma, but it should end with a period (...by way of music.).
The first word of the last paragraph on your Bio page (Chucks) needs an apostrophe (Chuck's).
Also, within the text on your Bio page, some of the periods are followed by a double space (antiquated formatting) and some are followed by only a single space. Whichever style you choose - I vote for single - it should be consistent.
And it seems a little strange that the first paragraph is written in first person, and the rest of it is in third. _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)

Thanks everybody for checking it out. There are a few tweak-y things that could be improved on but all in all I'm really happy with the improvements. It's much more functional now than in it's original form..especially with the demos on page one in streaming and downloadable form. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Other than the nits that Doug picked out, I absolutely love this site, and this is coming from a former website creator who tends to be super critical about websites (and, frankly, thinks most v/o sites are poorly done).
Short, sweet, to the point, tasteful, no blathering on with useless verbiage, and the main thing that a client wants to know: what you sound like, couldn't possibly be easier to get to (and you sound great, btw).
My ONLY complaint is that I had to search just a little bit to actually find the link to directly e-mail you should I have wanted to do so. But other than that, this is, IMO, a terrific site. _________________ Scott R. Pollak

My only note is that going to your site it opens in a new tab and stretches my browser window to full width and just a bit more. When I quit the tab it leaves the browser at full width and I have to move it over to grab the corner and shrink it down to my usual viewing size. A tiny, tiny pain.

Chuck...it's beautiful! VERY user friendly. And hopefully you'll get tons of friendly users.
I do see what Doug pointed out on your bio though...it is a kind of disconnect to have first/second person....unless mayb you made the top line a quote or something. But...WELL done!! Really much so!

@Scott. Hey! Happy belated Thanksgiving. Glad you like the site revision. Regarding the bio...that is a quote. I kinda stole the idea from Bob.
Say "hey" to April for Kate and I. "Hello Ventura!"
@Todd. What's scarier? Coming back to your hotel room after the mixer....turning on the TV...and that's the first spot you see...in NYC. That was a little rush for sure. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Scott's right. Most VO sites DO suck. (Sorry, guys....)
You've done a really nice job, Chuck.... Clean, easy to navigate, and surprisingly warm in an unexpected way, which I didn't expect to feel when I first saw the dancing vu bars. It manages to showcase your talent well AND convey a sense of who YOU are at the same time, without the ego trip most VO sites tend toward. Audio and vids chosen are good representations of your work and your versatility. No glitches or hiccups. No unintended behaviors. No verbose rambling or unnecessary effects, wipes or swooshes. Nicely done.
Now, make it easier to find that email link, and you're golden..... I think it represents you well. _________________ Don Brookshire

Thanks!
Point well taken on the email link. I think maybe having it appear at the bottom of each page would do the trick. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Hide it in the grass, bottom right on the home page, in a whimsical font, like an artist's signature....
It'll be less obtrusive, easy to find, and a lil tongue-in-cheek....
Bruce..... What browser is giving you that unintended behavior? I've tried Chrome, a couple versions of IE, Safari, and mobile.... All good. _________________ Don Brookshire

It was the previous version of Firefox on a Mac. I upgraded to the most recent FF and the problem is gone.
