I love twitter (tho' I don't use it a lot). There are plenty of bad tweets out there (and VO talents don't tend to make very useful ones, I'll admit). However, I'll cite Anthony Mendez as one guy who uses twitter well. I also like how it's like a newsreader and one can get links to things one finds interesting or educational. As a direct messaging device, I sometimes use it instead of email or texting: it's like a walkie-talkie in that sense.

Twitter has been one of the best ways that i've been able to be friendly with international voice over people.

Most of what is on TV is garbage. Most of what is on radio is garbage. Most of the published fiction out there is utter garbaggio. So, some tweets are inane. Big whoop.
