When people say that Christmas is about helping the poor, the underprivileged, the lonely and the forgotten, they do not mean that this is a good thing to do as well as buying lots of presents and eating too much. You can spend as much as you like, yet it will only make you poorer. You can eat as much as you like, yet it will only make you fatter. But no matter how many times you go out of your way to show kindness, sensitivity and love, you can only ever grow more fulfilled. Be as wonderful as you know how to be this Christmas.
