‘Should I do this with my teeth or without my teeth?’
I read this short article about the new, Oscar-nominated Pixar short "La Luna", which features only gibberish for VO. The man who played the grandfather posed the above question, and they proceeded to record everything from him toothless!
The short clip on the linked page makes me think it'll be a lovely little film to see. _________________ jen@jengosnell.com

Interesting, Jen. I haven't even heard of this short. I was sorry the included clip didn't also include a bit of the gibberish, though. Would have liked to have heard it.
Good to know there's still a future for me in v/o when all my teeth fall out!
Speaking of the movies, if you haven't seen "Hugo" yet, I'd highly recommend it! _________________ Scott R. Pollak

This must've been the guy who used to do all the P.A. announcements in the New York City subway system. _________________ Mike

I've done toothless before, even though I have all my teeth. I played an aged space pilot for a Nintendo game animated video and they wanted a lively conversation between him and his robot. However, since this was to be seen in every corner of the globe, they didn't want any of the words to be understandable to anyone, but viewers had to be able to catch our drift! No hard consonants seemed wise, so I took out my "teeth". Tough job, but fun.
Just gotta use the "tools" you've got, real or imagined.
