Along with the great Jazz and blues guitarist, Alexis Korner, it was the VO on this ad, London UK resident Canadian Bill Mitchell who made me think .... I'd like to do that.

Quite the reverse for me; when I hear Bill Mitchell's work it makes me want to give up! What a super talented guy he was - and not just for his tone. If you can track down the Edgar Allan Poe short stories he voiced on vinyl you'll hear work of rare subtlety and distinction.

He had much more in his locker than just the gravel toned tags.
