Thanks all for some great advice. And that's exactly what I was looking for. Like Ed said, I'm not new to the game but have been focusing on other projects lately. 1 gig sticks and MP3s going direct have been my choice of delivery. I was curious if CDs are even worth it anymore to bother with these days.
As far as agents are concerned, (and I haven't used one since my musician days) every tool you have in your arsenal is just as important. Whether it's you yourself, client, friends or colleague leads, or agent(s)...they should ALL be a part of your continued effort to get work.
The feedback alone from VO-BB friends is invaluable and is why I like throwing that stuff out. Thanks to all of you again. |

Yeah, hardly anyone sends CDs anymore. That's exactly why I still do.
MP3s and thumb drives, too. It all depends on who I'm contacting, why I'm contacting them, and (if I know) how they prefer to receive demos. _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)
