Fascinating.

Would love to hear this community's response to this.

Help me out here. I saw a semi a car and a riding lawn mower. Didn't see a Pick Up. While you are at it help me see the gun rack you saw.

As regard the shooting spree, a waste of bullets. I would have cleaned out the hard drive and given the lap top to a child who might appreciate it.

I'm torn.

His daughter obviously needed a wake-up call in terms of appreciating what her parents actually do for her, but I suspect that conditions in the house are pretty strict as well. In this case, I'd say both parties are overreacting. Instead of sitting down and having a face-to-face talk, they blow out their frustrations to the outside world.

Yeah, I saw this on Facebook.

Who's to blame for spoiling the girl in the first place, that she would dream of acting this way?

I knew the day my 1st son was born that he's be bigger than I am by the time he was 12, so I laid down the law straight away and kept the tolerance threshold LOW.

I also perfected the Thermonuclear Look.

I didn't see a pick up or a gun rack, but I like the choice of .45 for a hard drive. I don't really think 9mm would have the stopping power.

Nah... no apologies needed, Limerick. No profilin' heah.

We all knows that we heah in the Deep South (south has 3 syll-uh-bulls, btw) are requahred bah law to own a pickemup truck WITH a gun rack AND a Rebul flag.

And while we ain't requarhed by law no more to have to marry within the family, we DO still try to keep the gene pools as unfiltered as possible.

Scuze me now whilst I go back to cleanin' my .44 Magnum, spittin' in the skoal can, an watchin' Springer. Mah sis is s'posed to be on it today.

Got a truck but no gun rack, don't want to let them know what I'm packing. Could be a riot shotgun, could be a pistol, could be well you just have to guess.

Truth be told this could be a case of poor acting, or great reality tv. Wait a minute no reality tv is great, my mistake.

Ed, no truck here, just 2 'normal' cars. But the wife and I each are licensed and pack heat for protection.

My neighbors, from Lawn Gyland, who still have quite the accent despite having lived in the Deep South for 20+ years, told me some time ago that I didn't sound like I was from here. The wife said (and I quote) "because you sound intelligent".

Wow. Do you know how HARD it was to bite my lip and not chuckle as she said that in her thick, New Yahk accent?! Wink

Be for I get in to this; please know that I love accents and regional brogues.

I have a friend who is from Virginia/North Carolina, an Oboe and English horn player who plays with several symphonies and teaches at a college in OH. She is a member of Mensa (Hi IQ Folks). She still has her lovely accent from the South.

She says that when ever she speaks to some Northerner that in their estimation her IQ drops 100 points.

For some reason we typically think the English folks are cultured and brilliant, that the guy with the Cowboy hat and a twang is slow and dim witted, the Southerner is even slower.

Scott, my brother builds Colt 1911’s that are set up for target competitions. He is a bean counter my day and army trained gunsmith by night.

My hand to God!

When I first saw this my thought was it looked like North Carolina. I was right. I also thought the man on camera was smart and maybe a bit theatrical. Smart is for sure, his writing style gives that away. Not sure about the theatrical part yet.

One other thing appears to me, he exemplifies our state motto which is something I take to hart. Esse quam videri “To Be Rather Than to Seem".

Thanks Scott
