Slick site Jeff....and welcome in from a former rock radio image guy. (18 years at WAAF Boston)
Demos sound solid. Not sure what the out-takes are "for"...but they're fun!
Navigation is easy. Some flash content there. What about mobile devices? I had a mobile version of my flash site built to auto-load for the iPhone/iPad users. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Hey Chuck,
Thanks so much for takin' a gander at my goods!
I'm still working on a few demos (Sports Imaging, Narration, etc.) so that's why I threw the "outtakes" up there...I liked the look with 3 on each side so I thought that would do for now...I may end up making it a "mystery" button..I don't know.
My old site was completely flash. And although it was "flashy", I did not have a mobile version..which is a big no no these days. So hence the re-design. New site should load to any mobile device just like it appears on a desktop or laptop. I've tried it on my iPhone and iPad with no issues.
Again, thanks so much for your thoughts. It's always good to hear from other folks either way to know if what you did was done up to par.
BTW----pulled up the mobile version of your site...I like. That may be something I consider down the road. Cheers! _________________ Jeff Augustine

Hi Jeff, from another former radio guy.
Your player wouldn't play your demos on my desktop running WIN XP and IE 8.
Nice site. Good luck. _________________ Gregory Best

Hmmmmm..that's odd. That's exactly what I'm running from 2 computers at home and everything is peachy. I've had friends check the site out too with no issues. Strange. _________________ Jeff Augustine

FWIW - I have checked your site on my MacBook (Safari and Chrome), my iPad and iPhone. It looks fantastic, and loads well on all three devices.
Great work, by the way ... and I love the outtakes. Kelly Kelly Kelly posted some outtakes on her site at one point, and she mentioned in a podcast interview (The Producers by Ryan Drean) that she has gotten more work because of her bloopers than her demos. She thinks that making yourself appear human and fun to work with separates you from the rabble (My word, not hers)
Cheers. |
