just finished with a new install of lion and aa3 it does not play OR record in neither edit nor multitrack. settings LOOK right & when i click record it SAYS "recording" but timeline does not move & no audio is going in.

i am using a motu 896hd interface - which worked just fine in snow leopard, and the drivers installed no problem on lion. edit to say - it's not the moto - tried with micport pro - same issue. so it has to me either something simple i'm missing - or a conflict with lion.

any ideas?

Never mind. Figure it out. OS sound prefs were wrong.

Stand down. Nothing to see here.

Was the first thing I was going to type up Wink. It's so obvious once you figure it out, yet it drives some of us insane. Cue any random point & click adventure game.
