Heh. I've been the victim of this, not realizing my voice is carrying as much as it does. It's actually caused me problems a time or two...being heard saying something I shouldn't! An interesting read indeed!

I am usually a very loud talker. Knowing this, sometimes I can catch myself and purposely lower my volume, but it's a tough habit to break. In the beginning of my lessons with NW, we had to tackle the volume issue a few times

Reminds me of a certain VO gathering in NY when (I won't mention names but was a certain French speaking L initial female, 2 male POC's, and a female M McK) got thrown out - ok I was there too and Mary had already left -of a testaurant (in Times Sq. of all places!) For being too loud.
