Ladies and Gentlemen, I come before once again for a honest and biting critique on this latest effort before I give them the CDs.
What say you?

The first "photography" and also "professionally" were a little munged.
I'd also slow the read down a touch. Remember, you're playing to a large room. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Karl, you're in Dallas, GA? I'm in the Peachtree City/Newnan area (soon to be more in the Smyrna area, though). Hi, neighbor! One of my favorite things to do is to bike the Silver Comet trail up close to where you are. _________________ Scott R. Pollak

Thank you for your critiques. I *know* I need to enunciate gooder, but it's good for me to hear it from someone else. I teach it to my students when talking about singing, but now I have to place it top of mind when talking until it becomes second nature as I am sure it is to youn's. I will slow down as well. It is a medium sized venue but every seat will be filled.
Also, I appreciate the note to smile - I forget that too - I'm having fun doing this, it shouldn't sound like it's a chore. Last year I did one for them where I gave people time to unwrap their cough drops and whistled to pass the time. That's why I'm redoing it. The director said some of his audience didn't "get" it. Ah well.
Thanks for the reminders.
I will recut it tonight when the kids are in bed.
Scott, my wife loves to take the kids out in the double stroller on the silver comet trail...when the pollen count isn't 8,164! (Welcome to Georgia, where everyone's car is the same shade of yellow.) Next time you're up this way, let me know and we can meet up and grab a bite to eat and talk voice things. It would have to be in the summer or spring break as the school frowns on me leaving for lunch...something about "leaving students unattended" and "running wild in the chorus room". Killjoys. _________________ My full name is Karl Kuhlken (think Macauly Culkin...it rhymes)

LOL... as it happens, I hope to be up there biking this Thursday. During good weather I'll typically get in about 75-100 miles a week riding, but haven't taken the bike off the hooks for about 4 months and I'm going thru withdrawals. Going to ease back into it with maybe a 30-40 miler on Thursday. I'm sure I'll return to my car caked in yellow snow. _________________ Scott R. Pollak

Hey! I also noticed a little tummy grumble or throat sound after the word PAGERS, about 30 seconds in. |

Thanks for your help, folks. I re-cut it and spoke slowlier, clearlier, smilier, and on a full stomach. It ran last night at the concert and there were even chuckles in the funny bits.
Still learning, and mining gold on the bb.
So once again, a BIG thank you to Chuck, Don, and CC for your critiques. And to Scott, for continuing to make me feel at home here.
Thanks y'all! _________________ My full name is Karl Kuhlken (think Macauly Culkin...it rhymes)
