Hello all;
I'm doing narration for a client in the Ukraine and as you might guess there are some words that are difficult to pronounce..
The clients English is OK but he didn't quite understand my request for phonetic pronunciations...
The words are:
"Lviv" (I'm guessing it's Luh-veev)
"Rizhske"
"Zhygulivske"
Is there a website that can help with this..
...Hope I don't get paid in Vodka |

I found Lviv on forvo.com and the last V is pronounced like a U. Check them out. Also found a similar audio pronunciation on Wikipedia.
A cursory web search and YouTube search didn't turn up anything usable on the other two.
Russian and Ukrainian are similar but different enough you'll want good help.
Ah, try the Ukraine embassy in Washington D.C.. They might help out.

+1 what Bruce said. Sometimes the phone is the best method. _________________ jonahcummings |
