...I'm doing various projects around the house while doing my research. Downloaded some audio files for various VO subjects and put them on my player. Currently listening to Nancy Wolfson's "How to get an Agent" audio file. Very interesting. Will put that in my "useful things to listen to" folder on the desktop for Ulf to peruse when his current VO work slows down. I just preview these things...but it helps me learn for when my turn comes, whenever that may be.
Braintracks sounds like a good possible place for further training, too... |

Be prepared to hit the ground running! Nancy Wolfson has a way of making you sound better than you had any idea you could be. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I have my first session with her this Friday! Alternately excited and terrified _________________ Arlene Cooke

Great recommendation - thanks DB. Arlene - would be interested to hear what your impression is after your first session. |

She is lovely in every way. That is, if you listen to her, put the work in, and don't stumble around with the administrative side. |

What Yonie said. I recommend Nancy Wolfson to anyone serious about advancing his or her voiceover business. _________________ Be well,

I'll join the chorus on that one. Nancy can really pull the best performance out of you and give you tools that you'll use every day of your VO career.
She's tough...but fun to work with. I just re-edited my commercial demo with her on the phone.
Do your homework, be prepared and be fearless...you'll do fine with her. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Awful woman! Would sue her but that would mean communicating with her Lawyer who is an AWFUL man! I content myself with sending hate mail in a variety of flavours. |

Thanks to the "chorus" and I'll follow your advice, Chuck

A few weeks ago she murdered me as I slept. Luckily, I got better and made a full recovery. |
