Utah - right on! I go to Moab once a year...which brings me to my first question. How does one go on vacation if clients are (hopefully) sending copy to be voiced? Alert the clients in advance that one will be unavailable, bring a portable setup? A combination of both, or something else? ...I don't have any work outside of my regular job at the moment but I'm already interested in vacation...

ask chuck -- he's always taking vacation Wink

actually, it's your choice. taking a portable set-up is an option many use. taking vacation without work is another option. working all the time without vacation is a third choice. they're all easily executed.

i used to do the first. then i decided i'd rather focus on the second. and lately it feels like i'm mired in the third (save my junket to ventura) !

Ugh...busted. Thanks Diane Smile

Really, aside from Faffing we've only been out twice in the past year. It'll be less this year. Savannah in August and more Faffing in October.

I always tell clients that I'll be available on a limited basis and then take care of the real core folks as best as possible.

I bring a portable rig. Macbook Pro, Pro-Tools, MBox 2 and a Rode shotgun.
Keeps the TSA guys entertained.

Welcome, Kevin!

And, yay! Another New Englander!

Everyone keeps fleeing to the west, so it got pretty darned light up here.

Welcome to the madness.

You've got a great name to start with. That'll open some doors for sure. But I'm guessing you'd get tired of saying, "No, I'm not the one that kissed Tom Selleck!"

Wow! Bruce, that's the first time the 'kiss' has come up. I had to google it b/c I was unaware of it. It's always been A Fish Called Wanda that people associate my name with...thankfully. I do hope the name opens doors for me...but the moment people realize which Kevin Kline they've opened the door for it'll probably be all over...

And google searches for me are going to be a bit of a trick I think. The other KK is so pervasive that I don't think I'll ever be found using a google search -

And for Greg, here's a nice tribute to one of our New England states:

Holla!
