|
|
I changed my password, as advised, but since I did that, I haven't received any LinkedIn notices. I'm a member of a couple of VO groups, and I like to receive the daily digests of the postings there... but I'm not getting them anymore. I've gone to LinkedIn several times and made sure my settings are to receive daily email digests, but it hasn't helped.
Anyone else having this problem? Or any suggestions on how to fix it (maybe I need to quit and rejoin the groups...? No idea.) _________________ Always look on the bright side of life.

I wish were not getting them. I get too many from there and FB. I've toyed with the idea of dropping both. No roi and a time suck/souce of junk email. _________________ Gregory Best

Actually, that may just be the smartest thing, Gregory. I haven't missed the minutes I used to spend there catching up with the daily postings... and since I can't seem to fix it, I guess Fate has made the decision for me. _________________ Always look on the bright side of life.

Now that you mention it, I seem to have more minutes in the day after changing my password too. Wait, what's this? I can see the bottom of the inbox?

This morning I received what appeared to be a connection reminder from LinkedIn, but upon more careful inspection, it turned out to be a phishing e-mail. It was a very good fake, and the first time I can recall getting a phony LinkedIn e-mail. So, be careful out there. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

I've got about 30 fake Linked In emails over the past couple of months. The easiest way to tell they're a fake? The name on the invitation to link up doesn't match the name in the body of the email.
Of course if you hover your cursor over most of the links they don't go to Linked In either. They go to some other place. Probably in Croatia or summit.
