Great idea.
I could only find one real review. The rest were all puff pieces based on the original press release. It said that annoyingly it picked up all the ambient noise so it may not be very directional. But for $40 you can impress someone somewhere I'm sure.

I think that there's an intrinsic problem with any device that doesn't use the 30-pin connector at the bottom of the iPhone to send the audio.
To quote Beau Weaver, writing a review of a different device on George Whittam's site:

... as for this microphone malarkey, it was inevitable. Don't be surprised if a "reputable" mic manufacturer climbs into this arena in a big way soon. If they can sell Zeiss lens adapters, then anything is possible...
