Up here at Casa Loco, later on we'll be having burgers with tomato and lettuce, potato salad, and, of course, Shiner bock. Wink

I'm having sliders and corn on the cob. But since I have to run to the store for some rolls, I might just get some hot dogs to go with them. And maybe some ice cream.

First time I've been on my own for the 4th of July in...well...ever, I guess. Menu is simple- potato and bacon soup, cheese roll, salad and after - wine. Listening to the neighborhood snap, crackle and BOOM! even as I type...

Grilled up steak, shrimp, asparagus, peppers snd onions. Bummed a couple hot dogs off the neighbors at the block party. And I made some red, white and blue cupcakes.

Here in New England? One word - Chowdah! Wicked hot chowdah made on an open fire. Oh, and we had burgers and dogs and poe-salad too.

Fun day by the pool!

Very clever, Bruce! Do you get a little spacey after eating a lot, or is it just me?
