VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Hello to you all.

I'm Karen. Just popping up to say that I've been a semi regular reader of this board for -oh, a couple of years- even before I had the courage to finally make a go at this crazy voice over thing.

I've been involved in several student films and indie animations, as well as freeware and small press video games. Characters are what I love to perform, but I've discovered that I'm not too terrible in the realm of commercial vo either. At the very least, I'm improving.

Anyhow, I thought it only fair that I should declare my presence, and stop making use of all of the valuable information I've read/stolen from this board without saying thank you <3

Thank you to Deirdre (for crating this here community gathering place, and being a take no BS, inspiring kinda lady), thanks to Philip Banks (for his frank info, and hilarious "tips"), and thanks to Bob Souer (for his encouragement to a random stranger who e-mailed him that one time ...).

Not only these few, but everyone who contributes really made me feel that THIS was the community board that I wanted to be a part of.

@Doug - well, mostly it was a lack of confidence in stepping my game up from a hobbyist to pro level. I know I've got some way to go, but I quit making excuses and decided to do it.
