I just grabbed this 60 Watt equivalent bulb from Amazon and it is really great. $20 for a lifetime warranty bulb? Amazing. AND it is Dimmable, so great for mood lighting. Anyone else have great luck with LED bulbs yet?

Right now the control room track lights are halogen and the booth is lit with an led light bar that I got from Home Depot. For a small booth it's perfect since there's no heat produced.

The LED bulbs are amazing in the studio. I have an 8'x 8' booth/studio combined with no ventilation (other than an open door), and I have track lighting with 6 cans ( I didn't want to punch a hole in the ceiling for lights) and if I didn't have the LED bulbs, it would be CRAZY hot in there. They were on sale for $15 a piece, so $90 on bulbs.
If they last 10 years, they are a great investment, but I don't think I've had a piece of gear that ever had a stationary LED burn out...so I was willing to make the investment. I got 60 watt equivalents so there is a lot of light in my studio. My dimmer is unscrewing a bulb or two  |
