I just grabbed this 60 Watt equivalent bulb from Amazon and it is really great. $20 for a lifetime warranty bulb? Amazing. AND it is Dimmable, so great for mood lighting. Anyone else have great luck with LED bulbs yet? _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Right now the control room track lights are halogen and the booth is lit with an led light bar that I got from Home Depot. For a small booth it's perfect since there's no heat produced. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

The LED bulbs are amazing in the studio. I have an 8'x 8' booth/studio combined with no ventilation (other than an open door), and I have track lighting with 6 cans ( I didn't want to punch a hole in the ceiling for lights) and if I didn't have the LED bulbs, it would be CRAZY hot in there. They were on sale for $15 a piece, so $90 on bulbs.
If they last 10 years, they are a great investment, but I don't think I've had a piece of gear that ever had a stationary LED burn out...so I was willing to make the investment. I got 60 watt equivalents so there is a lot of light in my studio. My dimmer is unscrewing a bulb or two |
