My old external backup drive was almost full so I bought a new 1TB drive. It has USB 3.0 and holy crap is it fast... 550GB of audio files copied over in around 3 hours! And if anyone's interested, I went with a Toshiba Canvio 1 TB drive... it's just a little bigger than an iphone, perfect for a travel rig... found mine on ebay new for $95.

+1 on the Toshiba.... Picked up one recently to help with the migration to my new lap rocket. Wicked fast, more storage than I hope to ever need, and small enough to travel in a jacket pocket. Great piece of kit.
