VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Just got back in the office after some errands to find a phone message left by someone with an extremely THICK Indian (India Indian) accent, speaking entirely too fast and emphasizing only that she needs me to call back right away. But, whatever it's about got lost in the slush of the speedy accent and delivery, and the phone number was darn near unintelligible.

It wasn't like she had to fit 30 price points in 30 seconds...

WHY don't they train these people to speak more slowly?

Ask her to do the needful and revert back with an email. LOL.

Over the years many of my US eLearning clients have outsourced to developers in Chennai. Try having a conversation with one 'em at five in the morning when you're still trying to wake up. If I got a dime for every time I uttered, "Huh?" "What?" I could retire.
