Hey all, I need to have some things cartooned. Does anyone have a good contact with a cartoonist or animator you've used? I've seen a couple of cartoon avatars, I just can't remember who

I know a Steve Thomason (SteveThomasen.net) who used to do this, but apparently doesn't anymore according to his website. However, on his website he now is referring to JamesHungaski.com . He says also that this James also knows more people.

no, I'm not a cartoonist. Yes, I drew those images a few years ago, but that's the extent of my talent. I re-use those same two images over and over in every comic.

Dave DeAndrea's avatar was created by the hugely talented Ethan Nicole. The thing is, when he did Dave's caricature he was relatively unknown, but as the creator of Axe Cop (web sensation, nationally distributed comic and soon to be Fox Network cartoon) and also the cover artist for newer Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles publications, he may now be too busy or too expensive. But I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask.
Darren Altman also has a pretty spiffy caricature but I imagine his artist may be local to him in the UK.
