A client asked me how much I would charge for a 5-minute VO that will be on a companion DVD that a customer gets free when they buy a certain product at some event. 500 DVD's will be handed out. Any additional charge beyond the normal rate? _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

I'm thinking a standard industrial rate would cover it. The rates we charge are based quite a bit on exposure, and since the disc itself is not being sold and not going out to a mass audience then it's no different from any sales or training video we might narrate.

I was thinking the same thing. It's actually less exposure than uploading the video to YouTube or Vimeo. _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!
