Out of all the above name the piece which lasts around 3 seconds which sets you apart from the rest. Find that and you'll find the map to Treasure Island. |

On the commercial demo I'd drop the Cedar Point spot since it's clearly local sounding. I'd stick with the more regional and national sounding products and services or with clips that just sound really interesting. Overall it's good and I gather representative of your sound.
On the E-Learning demo and the end of the commercial demo I wouldn't fade out clips. I'd just find a nice place to end a clip and blunt edit into the next piece. Some of you E-learning pieces also sounded like they were recorded in a small, hard walled space. That might be a negative to someone picky about how your recording environment sounds.

Thanks a ton Bruce, that Cedar Point bit was one that got me a lot of work in years past, but perhaps it's the "years past" part that's holding it back. There certainly is enough of that elsewhere on the demo. Anything else missing that you can hear? (besides talent )
Very true on the e-learning demo, on thinking back there were a couple of bits that were done before I built the booth, so yes I can lose those and find tons more to choose from that I've done since.
I can also tighten the edits up to lose the fades - The end of the commercial demo was done out of necessity to remove a couple of unnecessary music notes, I can try to make the fade quicker to make it more decisive.
But thanks muchly for the listens, and thanks Philip for getting me thinking in that direction - if I can find the nugget, if there even is one, I'll put it to good use.
Any other thoughts would really be appreciated, folks. Thanks tons. _________________ Chris Mezzolesta, Voice Talent
