Hey all,
I'm on the road and am using my Win7 Netbook with my MicPortPro and Audacity & am getting major glitches in my audio.
Sometimes it records cleanly and other times it's unusable and I have to rerecord everything....there is no way to tell when it'll happen.
UGH.
Anyone available to help with suggestions?

Liz....
Let's start with the basics.
Make sure your wifi is off, and that you have no other programs running in the background.... Just Audacity. NO email, no word processor, no nuthin'
Ctrl-Alt-Del to open windows task manager and look for anything running you're not aware of.
Then double-check your audio source and sample rate settings in Audacity.... and make sure you're set to MONO recording if your project allows.

also, liz, i always check the sample rate in the control panel, and sometimes unistall and reinstall, just for freshness
