What would you guys charge for a children's e-learning project that requires you to sing? It would be five songs sung a capella, each less than one minute in length. Thanks! _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

It really depends how you view singing, and how easily it come to you. Some will burst into song and be more comfortable with that than with reading! If it were me, I'd charge very little as I'd assume they are already paying a heavy price in pain and suffering.
As a serious answer, I'd be tempted to increase my rate 50~100% over what I would have charged if it was for five minutes of narration. I've only had to sing once, and that was in a kids book where I was a pirate singing a sea shanty. Even though it was "in character", I was well outside my comfort zone! _________________ Bish a.k.a. I've done similar stuff for 100 per song. Less if it's a giant batch of 'em. |
