Yep, I usually rock a nice pair of jeans and a good polo shirt, sometimes a button down. Never anything without a collar, although I've gone the sweater route before, but yep, jeans+polo = solid.

Golf shirt and golf shoes. I usually have to be dragged of the course to go to studio session.
But, if it's a planned session, see my avatar. I go a little lighter on the Panther Musk, though. The agency interns get a little "handsy".

Regardless of if the clients are present or not, I try to do what most have said here and go Friday Casual or maybe even Monday Make-an-Impression.  Always, I wear a sleeveless shirt (under jacket in winter) since I'm often flailing my arms about like a crazy woman when I voice. It's impossible for me not to use my hands when speaking, so going sleeveless means no clothing noise. Also, I will funk up the ensemble with a cool piece of (non-noisy) jewelry of interest to those in our industry like a bracelet I have in the shape of an open mouth, a bracelet made of a Shure 55 switch plate or my necklace made of microphone parts. |

At the request of producers and clients, I wear a bag over my head to sessions.
That seems to make them happiest.
